Aarushi is a social initiative, a fight against the practice of female foeticide. Our aim is to stop this cruel practice especially in rural India, where it is still prevalent. It is sad to note that a girl child is not only unsafe inside her mother’s womb, but even after birth she faces various hardships because of gender inequality.

Our objective is to save the girl child before and after her birth. We also aim to protect, safeguard, support, and educate the girl child.
