Aarushi was started in 2015 and since then we have been working in the rural areas of Karnataka, especially in Jakkali village which comes under Channagiri taluk in Davanagere district. These villages face a lot of issues mainly health, education and poverty. The common people of these districts include poor farmers and daily wage earners have always faced the wrath of the society. 

ಆರುಷಿಯನ್ನು 2015 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ನಾವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಚನ್ನಗಿರಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಜಕ್ಕಲಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಈ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಬಡತನದ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಈ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರು ಬಡ ರೈತರನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೈನಂದಿನ ಕೂಲಿದಾರರು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಸಮಾಜದ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
